Before you decide
Am I suitable for laser eye surgery?
Most people between 21 and 60 with a stable prescription are. Thin corneas, very high prescriptions or dry eyes may point to ICL or lens surgery instead. The suitability consultation decides, and about one in five people are told laser is not right for them.
Is the price really fixed?
Yes. It is written on your plan at consultation, per eye, and includes the surgery, the lens where relevant and the aftercare stated. It does not change.
How soon can I have surgery?
Consultations within seven days and surgery within three weeks is typical. Cataract patients are often treated sooner.
What if something goes wrong?
You have the consultant’s out-of-hours number for the first week and lifetime laser aftercare after that. Complications are rare and are managed by the same consultant at no charge.
