The same procedure as cataract surgery, chosen for vision rather than a cataract. Trifocal and extended-range lenses can remove distance and reading glasses at once.

- All drops and reviews for twelve months
- Any YAG laser polish if needed

All prices are per eye and fixed in writing at consultation. The consultation fee is credited to any treatment. Twelve months of consultant aftercare is included; laser patients receive lifetime laser aftercare.
Recovery
When life goes back to normal
Day 0
Home within two hours. Vision blurry until the drops wear off.
Day 1
Review. Reading and screens comfortable for most.
Week 1
Second eye. Driving once both are done.
Month 1
Brain adapts to the new lens. Halos fade over three months.
Risks, stated plainly
What can go wrong, and how often it does here
- Halos and glare at night that fade over months
- Posterior capsule haze needing a five-minute YAG laser: about 1 in 10, included
- Retinal detachment: about 1 in 1,000, higher for very short sight
- Infection: fewer than 1 in 3,000
Every risk is discussed again at your consultation, and you sign nothing on the day you first hear it.
