Suitability consultation
90 minutes
Scans, a dilated examination and the consultant who would treat you. You leave with a fixed written price or an honest no.

Decide in your own time
Up to 3 months
The price holds. Daniel is on the phone for questions; a second consultation is free.

Treatment day
2 hours in clinic
Both eyes for laser, one eye for lens surgery. Home the same afternoon with a companion.
04
Aftercare
1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 12 months
Reviews with the same consultant, then lifetime laser aftercare. Out-of-hours number for the first week.
Before you come
What to bring, and who
Consultations may be changed with 48 hours’ notice. Surgery dates may be changed with seven days’ notice; later changes may incur theatre costs.

- Photo ID and your glasses or contact-lens prescription
- Contact lenses out: soft for 7 days, rigid for 4 weeks, before the scans
- A list of any medicines and eye drops you use
- A companion on treatment day: you cannot drive home
- Sunglasses for the drive home; the drops make you light-sensitive
- Questions written down. Every one gets answered before you sign anything
Getting here
Six minutes from the station
- By train
- Kingsmere station is a six-minute walk. Fast trains from London Waterloo every 15 minutes, 38 minutes door to door.
- By car
- Free patient parking behind the building, six spaces reserved for treatment days. Postcode takes you to the rear entrance.
- After surgery
- You cannot drive home on a treatment day. Bring a companion, or we book a car for you at cost.
- From abroad
- Heathrow is 35 minutes by taxi. Two hotels within walking distance offer patient rates; Daniel arranges them.
