The journey

Find the right person
Use the finder, pick a department, or ring Tom. You see each clinician's days and next free slots before you choose.

Book and register
Online, by phone or WhatsApp. New patients fill in a short form; insured patients add their policy number and we handle pre-authorisation.

Your appointment
Arrive ten minutes early at the right entrance. Any test your clinician orders is usually done before you leave the building.

Results and follow-up
A written summary in your portal the same day. Results appear once a clinician has checked them, and anything abnormal is phoned, never just posted online.

- Registration in five minutes online, or at the desk
- A GP with time to listen, or a direct booking with any department
- Bloods, ECG or ultrasound the same visit if useful
- Prescriptions, letters and referrals in the fee
- Your portal account with the summary the same day
You do not need to leave your NHS GP, and you do not need a referral to book any department. Insured patients get their GP referral letter the same morning.

Results
How you get your results
Every result is read by a clinician before it reaches you, and anything that needs a conversation is a phone call, not a notification. Here is the route a sample takes and how long each test usually needs.
At the appointment
Your clinician tells you which tests, what they cost and when to expect each result. Bloods, ECG and most scans are done before you leave.
Same day
Samples go to the lab at 11:00 and 16:00. Full blood count, glucose and HbA1c run on our own analyser within the visit.
Result back
The duty GP or the requesting clinician reviews it, adds a plain-language comment, and releases it to your portal. Nothing is published unread.
If anything is abnormal
The clinician phones you within one working day and books the follow-up. In 2025 this happened on time in 99.8% of cases.
Afterwards
Results, letters and images stay in your portal. With your consent a copy goes to your NHS GP so their record is complete.
How long each result takes
If something is abnormalAn abnormal result is never left for you to find. The clinician who ordered the test phones you within one working day, explains it, and books whatever comes next. If we cannot reach you we text and email asking you to call the front desk.

Arriving
Come to the right door.
Ten minutes early is plenty. Each entrance has its own car park and reception knows you are coming.
Changing or cancelling
Change or cancel any appointment up to 24 hours before at no charge, online or by phone. Later cancellations and missed appointments are charged at half the appointment fee; NHS-funded appointments are not charged.
