The Mill Lane entrance has its own waiting room, a pram store and a paediatric examination room, so a poorly child never sits in an adult waiting area. A same-day GP list for under-16s every weekday, a consultant paediatrician within the week, NHS immunisations, and a dentist who sees under-18s on our list for free.

How it works
What is different for families.
Same-day children's list
Ring before 10:00 on a weekday and a GP sees your child that day. £85, prescriptions included. Under-2s are always seen the same day.
Consultant paediatrician
Dr Kowalski, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, for the things that keep coming back: infections, allergy, growth, development, sleep. £220 for forty minutes.
NHS immunisations, free
We hold the NHS contract for childhood immunisations. Register your child for NHS services with us and the schedule is free; extra vaccines such as chickenpox and meningitis B are priced on the fees page.
Children's dentistry
Under-18s on our NHS list see Dr Whitfield and Sarah free. School-holiday mornings are kept for children only.
Bloods and scans in the children's room
Grace takes children's bloods with numbing cream and a parent holding hands; Rosa scans in the same room, not the adult diagnostics suite.

Parents see every child's summaries, results and vaccination record in one login, and can book any of them from it.

Asked by parents.
- Do I need a referral to see the paediatrician?
- No, if you are paying yourself. Insurers usually require a GP referral first; our GP can write it the same morning and it is accepted by every insurer we work with.
- Can my child stay registered with their NHS GP?
- Yes. Nothing about seeing us changes your NHS registration. With your consent we copy letters to your NHS GP so the record is complete.
- What if my child is ill on a Sunday?
- Sunday 9:00 to 13:00 is an urgent GP list, £120, and children are seen on it. Outside those hours, 111; for an emergency, 999.

Every department open, every clinician in the building. Free blood pressure and mole checks (first 40), a look at the physio gym and the children's clinic, and Tom on hand for membership and insurance questions. No booking needed; register for the free checks. 40 places.
