What happens
Pain in pregnancy is common and it is not something to put up with until the baby arrives. Aisha sees pregnant and postnatal women in a private room at the quiet end of the clinic, with longer appointments and no rush.
In pregnancy
- Pelvic girdle pain and low back pain: hands-on treatment, a support belt if it helps, and exercises that fit around the bump
- Rib, wrist and carpal tunnel problems
- Staying active safely: running, gym and the Pregnancy Pilates class
After the birth
- The postnatal check at six weeks or later: tummy gap, pelvic floor, scars, posture
- Pelvic floor rehab for leaking, heaviness or pain
- Return to running: a graded plan and the test we use before you start
We work with the Otterford midwifery team and your GP where you want us to.
