What happens
The first session does three jobs: works out what is going on, starts treating it, and gives you a plan you can read that evening.
What happens
- Ten minutes of questions: how it started, what makes it worse, what you want back
- A hands-on examination and movement tests; diagnostic ultrasound if it helps
- Treatment on the day, usually hands-on work plus two or three exercises
- A written plan with an honest number of sessions and a discharge target
You do not need a GP referral. Most insurers cover the assessment with an authorisation number; we bill them directly.
Your plan, step by step.
