Most answers here are given in the room. Everything that goes to a laboratory has a promised turnaround, and an abnormal result is always a phone call from the consultant, never a letter you open alone.

If something is abnormal
Abnormal histology is phoned by the surgeon who took the sample, the day the report is signed, with the plan and a date. We do not post cancer results, and we do not leave them on voicemail: if we cannot reach you we keep trying and send a message asking you to call Rosie.
Insurers billed directly
Billed directly: give Rosie your policy number and authorisation code and you pay only your excess. Most insurers want a GP referral first. Mole mapping, surveillance plans and cosmetic removals are not usually covered; we tell you which before you book.

Not to book. You can self-refer for everything we do. If you are using health insurance, your insurer will usually want a GP referral before they authorise the consultation; Rosie will tell you exactly what yours needs.
