Dr Helen Marchetti sees you.

Helen spent seventeen years in NHS skin cancer clinics before founding Oakwood in 2016 because the people she most wanted to see, the ones with a mole that had changed, were waiting six weeks to be told it was nothing or three months to be told it was not. She does the mole checks and the mapping, chairs the monthly skin cancer meeting, and still does one NHS list a week.

01I am on warfarin. Can I still have a mole removed?

Usually yes, without stopping it. Mr Okafor checks your INR, uses a pressure dressing and books a day-three wound check. Stopping anticoagulants carries more risk than a bruise.
