03A full-body check once a yearThirty minutes with a consultant, £195, or £120 on our outdoor workers' afternoons. Employers can book a block for a crew and we invoice once.
04Fields of sun damageMany actinic keratoses across a scalp or hands are treated as a field with photodynamic therapy, including daylight PDT in summer, rather than frozen one by one.
05Hats, sleeves and the right SPFA brimmed hat beats a cap. Long sleeves in light fabric beat cream. SPF 50 that does not sting the eyes exists; we keep samples at reception.
06Fit notes and reportsWe write occupational reports for employers and fit notes for recovery after surgery; both are included in the price of the procedure.

00Who and when

Dr Helen Marchetti sees you.

Helen spent seventeen years in NHS skin cancer clinics before founding Oakwood in 2016 because the people she most wanted to see, the ones with a mole that had changed, were waiting six weeks to be told it was nothing or three months to be told it was not. She does the mole checks and the mapping, chairs the monthly skin cancer meeting, and still does one NHS list a week.
