ABCDE
A: if you drew a line through the middle, do the two halves match?Harmless moles are usually symmetrical.
B: what is the edge like?Look at where the mole meets the skin.
C: how many colours can you see?Browns, black, red, white, blue or grey.
D: how big is it?A pencil-end is about 6 mm.
E: has it changed?Change is the single most important sign.
