A doctor has to see or speak to you before signing anything, so a standalone note is a short video or phone call with a GP plus the document, emailed as a signed PDF within the hour. Existing patients whose notes are up to date can request most letters through the online account.
Fees when not part of an appointment

- Fitness-to-fly, fitness-to-travel, sports or event certificate £55
- Medical report or letter to a third party (insurer, employer, school) from £75
- Copy of your records: free
We do not issue NHS fit notes: those come from your NHS GP or from the hospital that treated you, and a private note is accepted by every employer we have met.
