Can I be seen in my lunch hour?
Yes. A 15-minute slot takes fifteen minutes; arrive five minutes early and you are out in twenty-five. Or take the video slot from your desk and collect a prescription on the way home.
Will my employer accept a private sick note?
Yes. A private fit note is a medical statement signed by a GMC-registered doctor; every employer we have dealt with accepts it. For statutory sick pay after seven days your employer may ask for a note; ours meets that.
