About a quarter of the people through the door are men, most of them for laser, sweating, a skin check or a frown that reads as anger in meetings. Same doctors, same rules, a door on the mews and appointments at 08:30 before work.

Laser for backs, shoulders and necks
A course of eight with Tomasz; beard lines and between the brows too. The most-booked men's treatment, by a distance.

Sweating
Underarm injections that last six to nine months. The treatment men are most grateful for and least likely to mention.

The frown
One area of anti-wrinkle injections, dosed so the forehead still moves. Nobody will know; people will ask if you have been away.

A skin check
Men are diagnosed with melanoma later than women because they do not look. Thirty minutes, once a year, with a doctor.

A routine of three things
Cleanser, a retinoid or vitamin C, SPF. Dr Haddad will write it down. It takes ninety seconds.

Is the mews entrance really discreet?
The answer
It opens onto Chapel Mews, a cobbled lane with no shops and no view from The Crescent. Charlotte will book you a time when nobody else is due through it if you ask.
01Why can't I be treated at the consultation?
Because deciding and doing should not happen in the same hour. Every treatment here follows a face-to-face consultation with a prescriber and a cooling-off period of at least 48 hours; England's planned licensing scheme proposes the same minimum. Most people book the treatment for the following week before they leave.
02How do deposits work?
A £50 deposit secures a treatment appointment and comes off the price on the day. It is refunded in full if you cancel with 48 hours' notice, or at any time if the doctor decides at consultation that the treatment is not right for you. Consultations are paid on the day and credited to any treatment within three months.
03Do you treat under-18s?
No. Injectable cosmetic treatment under 18 has been illegal in England since 2021, and we apply the same rule to every cosmetic treatment. We ask for photographic ID if there is any doubt. Skin health checks and acne advice for teenagers are available with a doctor, with a parent present.

45 minutes with a doctor with a doctor, £75, credited to any treatment within three months. Nothing is injected at a first appointment, for anyone. If the doctor advises no treatment, you have still had the imaging, the routine and the honest answer.
