Bring your itinerary and any vaccination records. Jo checks your destinations, activities and dates against the national travel health guidance, tells you what is recommended, what is required for entry, what you already have, and what is free from your NHS GP if you have time. Vaccines are given at the same visit.
What happens
- Risk assessment: destinations, rural or urban, activities, length of stay, your health and medicines
- A written schedule: which vaccines, how many doses, which dates
- Vaccines given there and then from our own fridge
- Malaria tablets prescribed and dispensed; a bite-avoidance and first-aid talk
- A certificate for yellow fever or meningitis ACWY where you need one
Leaving in under seven days? Do not use the picker: phone, and we fit you in that day; most vaccines still give useful protection.
