For GP surgeries, care homes, ENT departments and employers. Send us a patient and they are tested within the week, or at home within two; you get a typed audiogram and our findings within two working days, and a phone call the same day if we find something that is yours, not ours. Care homes get a monthly visit and staff who know how to change a filter.

What you can
send us
We write to a patient's GP only with the patient's permission, and we tell them we are doing it. Referral letters can be emailed, posted or simply given to the patient to bring; nothing about our process needs a form.
GP surgeries
a free hearing test for anyone 50 or over, a typed audiogram to you within two working days, and honest advice on whether the NHS route or private suits the patient; we write to you either way
Sudden hearing loss
tested the same day, audiogram to you within the hour, so the steroid decision is not waiting on us
Wax
microsuction within three days, £75, or at home; a note back to you and no charge to the surgery
Care homes
a monthly visit by Tom or Helen for tests, fittings, wax removal and aid maintenance; every aid in the home labelled; a fifteen-minute staff session on domes, filters and chargers, free
ENT departments
pre- and post-operative audiograms, tympanometry and reports within two working days; we do not fit aids to an ear you are treating
Employers
baseline and annual hearing tests for noise-exposed staff with a report per employee, and custom plugs at £140 for five or more

How to refer
Email, post, or simply give the patient our number to ring. We write back within two working days, sooner for anything sudden, and only with the patient's permission.

Sudden hearing loss seen and referred the same day
All tested the same day and written to the GP or sent to A&E within the hour. Time matters more than anything else we do.
Care homes
Tom visits monthly: home visits and care homes, musicians' hearing, custom ear plugs. Every aid in the home labelled, and a free staff session on domes, filters and chargers.
