Dad's NHS aids had been in a drawer since Covid. The £45 check got them working and Jenny showed me how to change the filters. Alan said honestly that a private pair would help in the pub but not much at home, so Dad kept the NHS ones. That honesty is why we will go there when he does need something.

Excellent fitting and the real-ear measurement thing made a real difference from the pair I had from a chain. Four stars only because my custom in-the-ear pair took nearly three weeks, not the nine days on the website; they did warn me at the time and lent me a pair meanwhile.
