Routine
A baby who turns the head one way, feeds better on one side, arches or hates tummy time. We check the whole baby; we do not claim to treat colic or reflux.

Will it help colic?

We cannot claim that and will not. The evidence for osteopathy and colic is limited or negative, and the advertising rules for osteopaths reflect that. We can check whether your baby is tight or one-sided, help with that, and show you handling that makes hard evenings easier. If you are worried about colic, your health visitor and GP are the first call.

What should I bring?

A feed, a spare nappy and the red book. Feed the baby before or during if you like; there is a rocking chair. Sessions run at the baby's pace, and a crying baby is fine.

Can I use a block with different practitioners?

Yes. A block is eight follow-ups at the wharf with any osteopath or the chiropractor, and can be shared with someone at your address.

When in pregnancy can I come?

Any time, though in the first twelve weeks treatment is advice-led and very gentle. Most pelvic and back pain starts around twenty weeks, and that is when most people come.

Can you turn a breech baby?

No, and we will not claim to. That is a conversation with your midwife about a procedure called ECV. We can make you more comfortable while you wait for it.

Is chiropractic safe at my age?

Often, but Sophie screens carefully and does not manipulate where bones are thin or the neck shows warning signs. Many over-60s do better with Karolina's gentler approach, and the triage or Grace will steer you.
