What it is, in plain words.

The Steady programme is for stiff mornings, worn hips and knees and the fear of falling. Four visits over six weeks: hands-on treatment for the stiff bits, a chair-based and standing exercise plan that gets a little harder each visit, a balance test at the start and end, and a plain look at shoes, stairs and rugs.

We do not manipulate anyone with osteoporosis or on long-term steroids; the techniques are gentle, and the lower table is always used.

Pay in one go for £220 (saves £20 on four visits) or £73.33 a month over three months at 0%.

Balance test improved for 79% of Steady patients at week 6 (2025, demonstration data)

What should I wear?

Something loose you can move in. For a back or hip we may ask you to strip to underwear or wear shorts; we have shorts and a gown, a towel covers you, and you can keep leggings on if you prefer. You can bring someone with you. Say what you are comfortable with and we work around it.
